Aunt Nell's 80th Birthday

BIRTHDAYS MARKED DURING LARGE FAMILY REUNION


Cedaredge-One of the big social events of August was the reunion of the family of Mrs. Ella Wagner. While they were here they were joined by friends at a party to celebrate the 80th birthday of Mrs. Wagner on the 13th and the birthday of Betty Barnard on the 14th.

A total of 50 members of her family and guests enjoyed an evening outdoors on Mrs. Wagner's lawn, where a bonfire was built to roast marshmallows. There was group singing of old-fashioned songs and birthday cake and ice cream were served.

The out-of-town relatives who visited Mrs. Wagner for a week were hr daughter and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Williams of North Hollywood, Calif.; a niece and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Leo Jones of San Leandro, Calif.; a great-great-niece, Kathleen Ames, of Downey, Calif.; nephew and family Mr. and Mrs. Gelineau and three children of Riverside, Mich.; and a great niece and family, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Weed and three boys from San Lorenzo, Calif.

Friends who joined them for the birthday celebration were Mr. and Mrs. Marion Coryell, Mr. and Mrs. Lorantz, Mrs. Charles Peaslee, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Wickersham, Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Tracy, Al Copenburger and Mr. and Mrs. Hal Cochran, all of Cedaredge.

Others present were Bishop and Mrs. Lawrence Hartley and family of Cory, Mr. and Mrs. Ova Johnson, Mrs. Leroy Donavon and children, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Marvin and Betty Jean Marvin, and Mr. and Mrs. Edward Trujillo, all of Delta, and Leona Bolinger from Arizona.
